- How old are you?
16 years old.
- How active are you per day/week?
Around 30 Hours per week
- Do you have previous support or moderation experience? If yes, where?
Yes. If accepted, this would be my second time serving as a Support Staff member. I have been actively using Discord since 2023 and have worked with several communities.
I am currently a @Jr. Helper at Crackpixel Network, where I assist members and help maintain a positive environment. The server currently has around 200 members (previously around 300).
In 2023, I served as an @Admin in Demo Hideaway and SkyPixel, both of which had over 200 members. In 2024, after recreating my Discord account, I joined two Minecraft SMP communities, where I worked as a @Support Employee in one server and a @Discord Staff member in another.
- How would you handle an angry or frustrated user?
I would stay calm and respectful, no matter how the user is behaving. I would listen carefully to understand the problem, acknowledge their frustration, and do my best to resolve it. If needed, I would politely ask them to stay calm so we can work together to find a solution.
- How would you assist a user who is confused about a service or process?
I would guide them step by step and explain everything in a simple and easy-to-understand way. This isn't my first time helping people with things like this, as I've assisted many users before. I believe patience and clear communication are the best ways to help someone who is confused.
- Why do you want to become a Support Staff member?
I have been involved with many Discord communities and have seen how professional support teams and server managers operate. I enjoy helping people, learning how successful communities function, and improving my own skills. Becoming a Support Staff member would allow me to gain more experience while contributing to the community. I also hope to apply everything I learn here to my own future projects and communities.
- What timezone are you in? - Are you able to stay calm and professional during difficult situations?
Pakistan[GMT+5]
- What do you believe makes a good Support Staff member?
I don't believe experience alone makes someone a good Support Staff member. What truly matters is how they behave when dealing with users, especially during difficult situations. A good support member should remain calm under pressure, be reliable, trustworthy, honest, patient, and communicate clearly.
- Is there anything else you would like us to know about you?
No, thank you. I believe I've covered everything I wanted to share. Thank you for taking the time to review my application, and I appreciate your consideration. BHere is proof of me being staff at CrackPixel.
