1. What is your exact Discord username?

crimsonelitegsqy.

2. What is your Minecraft username?

HEROBRINE

3. What name do you prefer to be called?

Crimson or HEROBRINE

4. How old are you?

17

5. What is your exact timezone?

IST (Indian Standard Time / UTC+5:30)

6. How would you rate your written English skills (1-10)? Do you speak any other languages fluently?

9/10. I have strong professional written English skills with a focus on clear grammar and concise communication. I also speak Hindi fluently.

Discord Presence & Experience

7. How many hours per week can you dedicate to monitoring and resolving Discord support tickets?

20–26 hours per week (roughly 3–6 hours on weekdays and 5+ hours on weekends, mostly during afternoon and late evening IST).

8. Do you have previous Discord ticket support or moderation experience?

Voidmc (~5,000 Discord members): Served as a Moderator for 6 months. Handled an average of 30–40 tickets per week. Primary responsibilities included diagnosing store and Tebex transaction delays, processing player gameplay reports, helping with launcher/connection issues, and resolving general inquiries.

Voidpixel (~4,500 Discord members): Worked as Community moderator for 4 months. Managed general support tickets, sorted bug reports for the development team, and assisted in keeping chat/ticket channels clear of toxicity and rule violations.

9. Are you currently on the staff team of any other Discord community?

No. I am not currently active on any other staff teams, so my support availability will be dedicated entirely to this server.

Situational Scenarios

10. A user opens a ticket and is incredibly angry, using aggressive language and accusing the server of "stealing" their money because a payment/donation package hasn't arrived yet. Walk us through exactly how you would handle this ticket from start to finish.

De-escalate Immediately: Remain calm and acknowledge their frustration directly without returning any hostility or taking the tone personally.

"Hello [Username], I understand it’s frustrating to make a payment and not receive your package right away. Don’t worry—your money is safe, and I will help you track down what happened and get this sorted out."

Collect Transaction Details: Request the essential verification items in one clear message:

Exact Minecraft username entered at checkout

Transaction / Order ID (from the store email confirmation)

Email address associated with the purchase

Note: Remind them explicitly never to share sensitive payment details like credit card numbers or banking passwords.

Investigate Common Causes:

Confirm whether the payment status is marked as complete or held as "Pending" by the payment gateway.

Check if the user was online at the time of purchase and had enough inventory space for physical items.

Resolve or Escalate:

If the transaction cleared and only needs a manual sync, run or request the appropriate store delivery command following server guidelines.

If the issue requires console or billing backend access, format the player's info, Transaction ID, and receipt screenshot cleanly in the staff internal billing channel and ping the responsible Admin.

Close Out: Confirm with the player that the package has successfully credited in-game, ask if they have any further questions, and properly tag/close the ticket with a brief log note.

11. A user opens a ticket asking a highly repetitive question that is already clearly answered in our FAQ or Discord channels. How do you assist them professionally without sounding dismissive or rude?

I answer their question directly in the ticket first so they do not feel dismissed, then provide a polite reference to the relevant channel for their convenience later.

"Hey there! [Insert clear, direct answer to their question here]. Just for future reference, we also have this and several other common troubleshooting steps detailed in our <#faq> channel so you can grab quick answers without waiting on a ticket. Let me know if you need help with anything else!"

12. You notice another Support Staff member handling a ticket incorrectly or giving out wrong information to a user. How do you handle this situation?

Do Not Intervene Publicly: Never correct a colleague directly in front of a player, as this causes confusion and undermines the staff team's credibility.

Direct Message the Staff Member: Send a private message or leave an internal note:

"Hey [Staff Name], I noticed your reply in ticket #123—just a heads up, the procedure for that was updated recently to [correct policy]. Here’s the doc link if you need a quick look!"

Let Them Self-Correct: Give them the opportunity to edit their reply or follow up naturally in the ticket.

Escalate if Necessary: If the staff member refuses to correct critical misinformation (such as incorrect ban appeal policies or chargeback rules), I would privately flag the ticket to a Senior Moderator or Manager.

Personal Insight

13. Why do you specifically want to join the Discord Support Staff team, and what makes you a better fit for handling tickets than other applicants?

Ticket support requires patience, structured communication, and diagnostic logic. Because of my prior experience on Voidmc and Voidpixel, I already understand ticket-handling workflows, Tebex order lookups, and how to stay level-headed during high-friction interactions. Being in the IST timezone also allows me to cover ticket queues during off-peak European and North American hours, ensuring tickets do not sit unanswered for hours overnight.

14. What do you believe is the most important quality for a Discord ticket support member to have, and why?

Patience paired with active listening. Players opening tickets are usually stuck, confused, or frustrated. If a support member rushes to close tickets or reacts defensively, minor issues turn into server-wide complaints. Being patient allows you to diagnose the actual technical or gameplay issue beneath the frustration, provide a solid solution on the first try, and leave the member with a positive view of the network.

15. Is there anything else you would like the Administration Team to know about you?

I have two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled on all accounts, am familiar with major Discord ticket bots (Ticket Tool, Tickets bot, DiscordSRV), and am consistent with logging and documenting ticket outcomes for team reference.
